What form of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of Credit Cards, Check, & Cash. Keep in mind that we do charge .0825 percent tax and credit cards are subject to a 3% credit card fee.  

What is the difference between pruning and trimming a tree?

 

Tree trimming is generally used to ensure proper growth and shape of the tree or shrub. Where as pruning is performed to protect the tree or shrub. Sometimes these two tree cutting techniques can be interchangeable, they do focus on two different fundamentals. One is to protect and reduce, the other is to shape and promote growth.

Shrub or Tree Pruning,

this is the service of cutting away dead, broken, or diseased infected branches so that the shrub or tree can regrow properly. It can also maintain a shape for aesthetic purposes.

Shrub or Tree Trimming

Can be the service of design of shape for appeal, remove overgrown foliage, and to allow moisture and light to pass thru more freely covering the inner and outer foliage. Regular tree and shrub trimming promotes a pleasant look and alleviates dense parts of the tree that could be preventing your landscape any light or needed moisture.

Why Should tree be pruned?

Regular Pruning can benefit the tree in several purposes, ranging from excess vegetation. Pruning will also remove damage or sick branches. There is also the groom of the shrub or tree, using a decorative design. 
The removal of undesirable element such as suckers, dried out branches, weak or ingrown branches.

When is it the best time to prune or trim my trees?

Late winter and early spring are the best times to have your tree trimmed or pruned.
There are trees without foliage and allows to see the branches better.
Growth is not affected because there is no need for sap production, as it is when it is in full growth stage (spring, summer).
There is no dissemination of certain fungi that can enter the cut area.
